30 Day Challenge Update

Not going so well.....I think I only wore some lipstick 

on the 1st!!!! I will be working on that :)

30 Day Challenge....

I CAN NOT believe that it is already November!!!! This year has really zoomed! (which is kinda good, since it was a pretty stressful year!). I am looking forward to 2012, hoping it goes better than 2011. I had such a great weekend, Friday night I went and hung out with my sister! We watch "Jumping the Broom" and ate pizza! Saturday morning I had to get an oil change (a 20 minute job took an hour and a half!!!!). I at least was able to get a lot of reading done while I was waiting. I had a ton of errands to run on Saturday! I then came home and made a Taco Salad for my friend Sarah's Fall Party. I thought I should take a picture of me cooking for 

proof that it does happen once in awhile!!! hahaha!

We had such a great time at the party! We ate a TON of food (there was only 4 of us) and I failed to get any pictures!!!! We had to laugh at ourselves.....we were sitting around the living room, drinking coffee and watching House Hunters and makeover shows!!!! lol! We are officially getting old!!! It was so much fun though, just a great time of relaxing! 

On Sunday, I went along with the youth from church to "Judgment House." We had about 25 of us! It was such a great time. Judgment House is a Halloween alternative about what happens to you when you die! It really impacted the kids and a few of them actually made commitments to the Lord! It was a great day!!!! Yesterday was Halloween and I usually don't do much for it, but I did dress Luci up!!!! O my, she was soooo soooo mad at me!!! lol!! But she sure did look cute!!!

 Yes, Yes I Did!!!! hahahaha!

For the month of November, I gave myself a 30 day challenge. I am not much of a lipstick wearer! I am always in lip gloss or chapstick, but lipstick, not so much!!! So I thought it would be fun to wear lipstick every single day of the month of November!!!!!! Then maybe I will be used to seeing my face in color!!! haha! I love Clinique's Black Honey lipstick!!! I bought it at Sephora some time ago and since I hardly wear it I have almost a full tube left! hahaha! So here is a picture of me on my 1st day of the challenge, don't mind the hair, I got up late today!!!!

Blog Vacation.....

So obviously I have been on a blog vacation!!!! The month of October has been really crazy! My family moved out of the house and I moved upstairs. So things are finally getting settled. I was on vacation for the past week and I will be going back to work on Tuesday. Hopefully work won't be too crazy when I get back. Well---that is really all I have right now!!!! hahaha! Happy Sunday! :)

Weekend Fun.....

For the 1st time in my life - I actually took pictures of my daily life.  I am usually the one who take pictures of every one else- so to document 

my weekend with photos was pretty cool! 

Friday night started off with a bang!!! I went to the mall (I haven't been there in FOREVER!). It was so nice to do some shopping! I love the jewelry at Forever 21! Cheap and Fashionable! My kind of shopping! I got 3 Fall candles from Bath and Body Works (I got a really good deal on them!) I picked up a few scarfs and some jewelry. I then got a couple of really 

really cute Fall tops from Ann Taylor Loft!

I then took myself to Target! I didn't find what I was 

looking for but I did find some of this:

 I am usually not too adventurous in my Starbucks drinks but I have been trying the Fall drinks and they have been fantastic! A few weeks ago I tried the Pumpkin Spice Latte and loved it! So I decided to try the Salted Caramel Mocha!!!! Yum!!!! I will be so sad when these drinks are gone!!!

After a full night of shopping I then came home and cooked some dinner! Chicken Breast w/ mozzarella cheese. So so good! 

Saturday morning I got up early and headed down to the Canton Farmer's Market! I love this picture of the pumpkins. I picked up a few for my porch! I was going to get some Mums in Canton but I couldn't find any that I liked at the price I wanted.....so I headed over to the Massillon Farmer's Market! 

They had a great selection of Mums and they were only 3/$10! I got the 3 that I wanted and I am thinking about going back this week to get a 

few more! You can NEVER have enough flowers!

So after I went to the Market's, my Mom, sister-in-law and little nephew went to some garage sales. WE DID AWESOME!!!!! I got a ton of new stuff for the house!!!! I was so happy! I was trying to be discreet when I took this picture! I didn't want the owner of the garage sale to think I was a freak! So this was the best picture I could get! :)

So I then went home and finished reading "The Help"- o my! Such a great book! I loved it!!!! I later went to Wal Mart and look what is for sale already!!!! CRAZYNESS!!!! This year I think we are getting a real tree! We are going to be in a bigger house and I already am figuring out the perfect corner for it! :) I really do love this time of year though! I love walking through the stores and looking at all the Fall and Christmas decorations! 

It just puts me in a great mood!

I thought this looked pretty cool! My family will be moving out of the house in about 3 weeks so I now have to get serious about what color I am going to paint my room. I am looking into a soft gray color- 

but I just haven't been able to find the right one!!! 

More Mums!!!! 

Sunday I had to work in the afternoon, so this is what my lunch looked like before hand! Mix of Tomatoes, Cucumbers and Olive Oil!!! So good!!!! 

It was a really good weekend! Sad it is over! 

This Weekend.......

I love going to the Farmer's Market!!!! I have only gone ONCE this year!!! I don't know why, I guess I just haven't felt like it! Well - that has changed!!!! This is my favorite time of the year to go to the market! All I can think of is pumpkins, pie pumpkins, mums, gourds, etc. LOVE IT!!!!! So this Saturday around 8 am I will be heading to downtown Canton for the market! I am hoping to get some really good deals! I am going to try and put some stuff up around the outside of the house. I will make sure I take some pictures and post them Monday :)

Reading List!!!

I have always enjoyed reading!!!! Right now, I have a few great books lined up that I am excited about. I am reading "The Help". Such a fantastic book and I am only half way through!!! I am hoping that I can finish it soon so I can go see the movie!!! So excited to see the movie! I usually see movies first and then read the books, but this time I switched it up!!! Glad I did :)

On Monday, my friend Melissa and I will be in a book club! I have never been in a book club before, so I am really looking forward to this! We will be reading "What Women Fear" by Angie Smith. I have heard so many great things about this book! There will be videos to go along with each chapter, I am looking forward to reading only about 1 chapter per week. I want to really grasp what each chapter is about instead of rushing through! 

And last but not least, I will be reading "One Thousand Gifts" by Ann Voskamp. I have also heard great things about this book. So hopefully

 in between "The Help" and "What Women Fear" 

I will be able to dive into this one as well!!!

Sunday Night Fun......

I have been a fan of the David Crowder Band for years!!!! Earlier this year, they announced that they were going to be breaking up. I was so saddened by the news I almost cried, I am surprised I actually didn't! So when I got an email that they were going to be at a church in Cleveland I jumped on getting tickets to go!!! My dear friend Shannon went with me last night! When we were younger we always went to concerts! We saw the band Justified so many times that they knew us by name (embarrassing....now that we think about it!) haha! We were worried that we were going to be the oldest people there- but there was a ton of people and from all different age groups! It was such an awesome concert! We were in the 2nd row and I got a ton of pictures! It was a great way to end my infatuation with the band! ha! I think this was the 4th DCB concert I have been too! It was actually Shannon's first! Her first and my last! It was a great evening! (Some of the photos are kinda blurry b/c I was using my phone!
